A Roofresh Wedding - Invites

Invites are an important part of every wedding, well because without them it's not much of a party. Jim and I wanted our invites to be unique and special so we started looking for inspiration in all sorts of places. What ended up  getting us was this video which I found through Promise Tangeman:

Shaped, Coloured from VsTheBrain on Vimeo

This was Andrw and Carissa Gallo's awesome Christmas video and we thought, "why not a wedding invitation?!"

So we went to work creating and compiled a DVD with moments from our trip to San Diego, scenes from the spot where Jim proposed, a guide to the ceremony and reception location and clips of us just basically goofing off. Jim edited the whole thing and we set it to one of our favorite songs, "Daylight" by Matt and Kim. After all was said and done we put it in a jeweled case with a fold-out of our engagement pictures courtesy of the Sloans and added our awesome cover featuring custom art by Philip Lumbang. We had a little bit of printing help from our friends at Think! and it was off to the post office from there!

Here are some pictures of our finished product and of course the video itself.

We hope that you enjoyed our invite design. We had so much fun doing it-I can not tell people that enough. It's something that we are proud of, put our hearts and personality into, and was uniquely us.
