Finding Phoenix {Entry Three}

I think that there is a common misconception that all of Arizona, or all of Phoenix is just a big desert or gigantic wasteland. The truth is that while a lot of it is desert, there's a large portion of the state that is not desert at all and even the parts that are have a lot of beauty to be found. I love the photo for this entry of Finding Phoenix because it shows that even in the heart of the desert there is still life and it's pretty at that!

I sometimes take phoenix for granted. I have a ton of family and friends who like the heat and have come HERE for vacation...(i still think they are nuts) but it really is beautiful!!!
