Valentine's Day Freebie!

So I've been experimenting with a lot more aspects of design lately. I would still very much consider myself a beginner, but it's still fun to play around and experiment.

I had a friend at work tell my about how their child's school is no longer calling the 14th of February 'Valentine's Day' but 'Friendship Day' instead. I think situations like that are a little ridiculous, and maybe it's just because I personally have a thick skin, but I think people are too easily offended sometimes. I understand that there are certain situations in which standards may need to change, or an individual may have a right to feel slightly hurt...but V-day, come on.

So I got to thinking, what if we couldn't call it Valentine's Day at our work or place of employment? What would our Valentine's look like? Thus my free download was born! These are just a cute little play on the concept, and I brought them into my office and they were actually a hit!

Hello Valentine!

Jim Bob and I were at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and passed the Valentine's Day section and my heart froze when I saw the Hello Kitty invites. I'm not a huge Hello Kitty fan or anything, but it just made me think of being a little girl hand writing out all of my Valentine's Day cards for school. Well of course we had to pick up candy heart suckers to go along with them! So I had a great time writing them all out feeling like I was a little girl again, doing something....just for fun and the sake of doing it!
