About Roofresh

My name is Kelsey, not Roofresh, but Roo IS my nickname. I live in the Phoenix area with my husband and we are having fun being newlyweds and going on crazy adventures together. We like finding new hangouts, food, art, music and friends; so that's pretty much what my blog is about. You'll find a bit of fashion, design, nutrition and family sprinkled throughout my content, or anything else that catches my eye at the moment. My blog has changed a lot over the last year, but you'll see that it's really just a record of our lives together; our public journal.

Sneak Peek

So I know it's been a while of all talk and no store, so since the Etsy store is still in the works I thought I would put up a little sneak peek! :)
Well there you go! I hope you get a little more of an idea of what RooFresh is about and remember to keep checking in for the store opening!

P.S. You may have noticed the banner at the top looks a little different now. I'm working on my logo at the moment and may be tweaking it as time goes on; for now if you have any comments or thoughts I would love to hear them!

Before and After

I loooooove before and after projects! I love how something old and possibly ugly can be turned into a statement piece or something to completely brighten a room. I've been planning a furniture remodel for a while and I finally found time (along with my wonderful husband's help) to do this project.
My grandma gave me this little sewing table a couple of years ago, and at the time I had it stored in the garage for lack of a better place. We recently moved into a bigger home and in the process I opened it up and discovered that the machine on the inside was an AWESOME blue-green color-I didn't even know the whole time!
Here are my before pictures (it's not that great but you get the idea...)
(Jim made it into this shot ha ha)
So after a little bit of black paint, and some rockin' salmon-colored ceramic knobs from Simply Different Jewelry, my sewing table is totally off the hook!

I hope that you have enjoyed! If anyone else has a before and after project I would love to see it-please post!
Roo
